Community invited to March 14 celebration at Orillia studio and factory
ORILLIA, ON — DWN Craft Chocolatier is celebrating five years of handcrafted chocolate with a special anniversary open house on March 14 at its studio and factory at 21 Peter Street South, Orillia. Chocolate lovers are invited to drop in between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to shop, taste, and celebrate with Simcoe County’s local bean-to-bar chocolate maker.
To mark the milestone, DWN is offering double loyalty points on all in-store purchases of house-made products on March 14, along with $10 flat-rate shipping from March 1–14 for customers celebrating from afar. Anyone who makes a purchase online or in person during that time will also be automatically entered into a grand prize draw. Limited-edition anniversary merchandise, including T-shirts and tote bags celebrating Orillia — the Sunshine City — are now available while supplies last.
Guests attending the open house on March 14 can enjoy live chocolate-making demonstrations at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., offering a behind-the-scenes look at how DWN crafts its chocolate from bean to bar.
“Five years ago, I started DWN with a small 5 kg grinder and a big belief that chocolate could tell a story and evoke emotion,” said Dawn, founder of DWN Craft Chocolatier. “This community has supported us from our very first markets to our studio today. This anniversary is really a thank you to everyone who has tasted, shared, and cheered us on along the way.”
Founded in Simcoe County, DWN Craft Chocolatier has built a loyal following for its small-batch chocolate, commitment to craftsmanship, and locally inspired flavours. The anniversary event celebrates the past five years while welcoming the community into the studio to experience how their chocolate is made.
