Valentine's Day is very soon and if you are planning to cook a nice meal for your plus one, I am here to level up your dessert game. This quick tutorial will show you how to make a chocolate dessert cup, which can be filled with your favourite ice cream or chocolate mousse.
All you need is 150 grams of chocolate (any kind) cut into small pieces in a microwave-safe bowl, a spatula for stirring, a tray lined with wax or parchment paper, and a few small balloons.
The first step is to temper your chocolate. The easiest way at any skill level is to use your microwave; add 120 grams of chocolate in the bowl and microwave for 20 seconds. Stir the chocolate and continue to microwave for 20 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until the chocolate is smooth and shiny. Add the remaining chocolate and stir until smooth.
